Guidance for Neurodivergent Creatives

We’d like to preface this section by firmly stating that the Exceptional Minds project is all about helping employers and businesses to foster more neuro-inclusive spaces and practices - we do not believe that this responsibility should solely be on the shoulders of neurodivergent individuals

We want industry to change its behaviours, not for us to have to change who we are.

That said, we are all too aware that this isn’t a process that will happen overnight.

In the meantime, we thought we would share some useful tips we’ve identified across our research to help you navigate our often tricky sector - both because our voices are essential for the Creative sector, and the sector in turn is often an ideal home for those of us who think, process information, and see the world in different ways.

Whether you’re just starting your journey, or are already carving out your own independent career path, check out the below for some guidance and support, or get in touch

we want to treat this page as an interactive blog space, for neurodivergent Creatives to share their own tips or experiences from the industry, to help others on their journey.
